T6 Tailwheel Assembly, Experimental Use Only
The T6 tailwheel has a 6″ solid rubber tire bonded to a fiberglass reinforced nylon composite wheel with an operating load capacity of 450 lbs. The tailwheel assembly is full swivelling and fits a 1.25″ or 1.50″ spring. The steering arms and wings are heat treated 4130 steel and are irridited to prevent corrosion. Fork and tailwheel base are fabricated from black anodized cast aluminum. All assembly bushings are made of nylatron or oil impregnated brass, the wheel rides on sealed ball bearings. No lubrication is needed for the life of this tailwheel.
