Brush-on chemical to condition aluminum for paint. Alodine 1201 Coating Chemical produces a light gold to tan conversion coating on aluminum which provides corrosion resistance and improves paint adhesion.
Nonflammable, chromic acid-based, coating chemical that will produce a chrome conversion coating on aluminum and its alloys. The coating formed by Alodine® 1201™ is gold to tan in color and it becomes a part of the aluminum surface. This chrome conversion coating offers the best affordable substrate for both paint adhesion and corrosion resistance.
Use Alumiprep 33 Cleaning and Conditioning chemical to clean oxidation and oils from aluminum surface prior to application. Meets MIL-C-5541B, Class 1A Method B.
