The original RV-4 engine is produced by Van’s Aircraft as a self-assembly kit. The model of the RV4 is now available on a scale of 1:2.4 from Grupp Modellbau. Grupp Modellbau has brought this low-wing model into production with a 114″ (2.9 m) wingspan and a possible take-off weight of 40-45 lbs.
- High quality kit components covered in Oracover
- The fuselage, the tail unit and the wings are CNC cut balsa / plywood
- Includes aluminum main landing gear
- Light-alloy wheels with 3-piece aluminum rims
- Fiberglass cowl and wheel pants
- Designed for 100-120cc power
